John is an international executive with over 35 years oil & gas experience including executive positions with British Petroleum, Phibro Energy and Neste. Until 2008, President of Petroval SA, Geneva, handling all international sales and marketing of crude and refined oil products for the Russian oil company Yukos. Currently focusing on various oil trading advisory and teaching projects.

Position: Director
Dr. Hamer holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Rostock in Germany with extensive studies at the University of Bonn and the University of Osnabrück. Dr. Hamer is current publisher of "Wirtschaft aktuell", a news letter providing background information on political and economic developments in Europe. The publication was formerly based in Zurich Switzerland and is now attached to the "Mittelstandsinstitut Niedersachsen". The Middelstandsinstitut Niedersachsen was founded more than 30 years ago and is one of the most prestigious research institutes for entrepreneurs globally. Dr. Hamer is a member of the executive board of the "Deutsche Mittelstandsstiftung", a well known foundation in Germany and is the current CEO of ELUX Wealth Management, an investment advisory corporation.
With the addition of Dr. Eike Hamer on the Derek Board of Directors, the Company has strengthened its presence, knowledge and corporate development strategies in European markets.

Position: Director
Mr. Wilson is a long time shareholder of the Company and has previously been instrumental in raising funds for Derek. The Board of Directors is pleased that Mr. Wilson will now be able to add more support to the Company's endeavors. Mr. Wilson is a director and chief executive officer of Dakar Resources Corp. and a director of Shasta Gold Corp. He has a background in marketing and business development, working primarily with micro- cap companies in all capacities to help their growth. He has been involved with the public markets since 1992.
